Based in Seattle, Sara O’Gorman is active in Egon Zehnder’s Consumer and Retail, Apparel and Luxury Goods practices. She is a respected advisor to clients, leveraging her deep consulting and management experience to provide sound advice to leaders while focusing on highly-entrepreneurial companies, family businesses and early-stage ventures.
I love serving as a connector – connecting great leaders with their next opportunities, or helping executives better connect with one another. The resulting impact on organizations and teams is so rewarding to see.
Prior to joining Egon Zehnder, Sara drove business development and value creation at JM Family Enterprises in Florida. Earlier, Sara served as Vice President for Brokerage at Tomo, a Seattle-based fintech startup, after working at Nordstrom, where she partnered with executive leaders across strategy, ecommerce and key growth initiatives. She began her career at the Boston Consulting Group in Chicago and the San Francisco Bay Area, working with clients in Consumer, Retail, and Financial Services.
Sara earned a BA in communications and art history from the University of Michigan and an MBA from Harvard Business School. She spends much of her time outside work with her husband, three young children, and two dogs.
