Wan May Ang leads Egon Zehnder’s office in Singapore. She is a key leader in its Private Capital and Consumer practices. She focuses on C-suite and board succession including search, assessment and development of leaders. She advises leaders of business-to-consumer and digital multinational, midsized, and family-owned companies in the consumer products, media and content, e-commerce, retail, food & beverage, and hospitality industries. Besides CEO and board appointments, she helps leaders in personal and team development. She is a certified coach and an experienced team facilitator. She serves as a Non-Executive Director on the Civil Service College Singapore Board.

I continually work to hone the science of talent assessment and development in the subjective world of human behavior. This is more than a job; it’s my way of helping create a better society.

Prior to joining Egon Zehnder, Wan May was a Marketing Consultant for Diverso Management, a Shanghai-based private equity group. Previously, she served as the Business Development Director for Reckitt Benckiser in China. Wan May began her career as a financial journalist for The Business Times in Singapore and was a Singapore Press Holdings Scholar.

Wan May has an MBA from INSEAD in France and a BA in philosophy, politics & economics from Oxford University. She is certified in The Leadership Circle, 16PF and Hogan development tools. Outside of work, she is trying to meditate, loves yoga, nature and contributes towards animal conservation.
