Christian Nyaundi works out of Egon Zehnder’s Sub-Saharan Africa Office in Johannesburg, serving clients as a member of the Firm’s Health Practice. He draws on extensive experience helping life sciences, healthcare and non-governmental organizations master their leadership challenges. Executives and other senior business leaders value his sound advice for seizing strategic opportunities and meeting challenges. Christian is also active in the Firm’s Financial Services, Consumer, Human Resources, and Technology & Communications practices.

Before joining Egon Zehnder, Christian was with Abbott Laboratories in Johannesburg and Dubai, initially managing strategic initiatives in Africa before becoming the Director for Channel Distribution and PMO for Africa and the Middle East and then serving as its Commercial Excellence Director for EEMEA. Previously, he was a Management Consultant at Deloitte in Johannesburg and he also worked as a Technical Advisor at the Anova Health Institute in Johannesburg. Earlier in his career, Christian was a Health Impact Assessment Consultant tasked with assessing how mining operations all over Africa impact community health.
Christian earned a BSc in Biology from the University of Eastern Africa in Baraton and an MSc in Epidemiology and Biostatistics from the University of the Witwatersrand in Johannesburg. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his wife and two children, watching sports, travelling, and playing golf.
