Norihisa Nakamura is active in Egon Zehnder’s Technology & Communications, Health, and Industrial practices. Based in Tokyo, he advises Japanese and multinational companies on corporate governance and talent strategy, including CEO succession, executive assessment and development, and globalization of the board and management team.

Japan’s newfound openness to globalization has triggered dynamic changes and created new platforms for leaders. As a Japanese consultant, I am excited to forge ahead on this new path with clients and executives.

Prior to joining Egon Zehnder, Norihisa was a Senior Consultant for Strategic Decisions Group, based in Silicon Valley, California. Previously, he was a Manager with KPMG LLP, advising multinational life science and high-tech companies. Earlier, Norihisa worked in the investment banking division of Credit Suisse First Boston Corporation in New York and the Bank of Tokyo, Ltd. in Tokyo.

Norihisa has an MBA from the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth and a BA in law from Hitotsubashi University, in Tokyo.

電機通信、医薬品・医療機器、エネルギー、製造業を担当。日本企業向けに、取締役会の実効性評価、指名委員会の支援、社長後継計画、役員層や次世代人材の評価・育成、合併や企業買収にともなう経営陣構築などに従事。

東京銀行(現三菱東京UFJ銀行)に入行、丸ノ内支店にて法人融資を担当。その後、クレディ・スイス・ファースト・ボストンのニューヨーク本社の投資銀行部門に勤務した後、シリコンバレーに移り、KPMG及びストラテジック・ディシジョンズ・グループにて、欧米及び日本企業向けの経営コンサルティングに従事。主にハイテクやヘルスケア業界でのM&Aや提携、海外進出、新規事業、組織再編、事業再建などのプロジェクトに携わる。

一橋大学 法学部卒業、ダートマス大学経営学大学院 MBA取得。
