Jessica Watson is one of the co-founders of Egon Zehnder’s Washington, D.C. office and currently leads the firm’s Health Practice for the Americas, where her work spans executive search, CEO succession, and Board recruitment. While she enjoys working across the healthcare spectrum, Jessica’s primary focus is in the biopharmaceutical industry. Jessica is also active in the firm’s Public and Social Sector (serving large not-for-profit, foundations and multi-lateral institutions) and Leadership Advisory practices.
I’m energized by figuring out what makes people and organizations tick, and then bringing the two together in a combination that’s more powerful than the sum of its parts.
Prior to joining Egon Zehnder, Jessica was an Associate Partner with Monitor Group (now Monitor Deloitte), serving in the firm’s leadership and organization practice with a specialization in health care, as well as international not-for-profit and multilateral organizations. Through that work, she gained particular expertise in helping clients implement large-scale organizational redesigns, improve leadership team effectiveness, and hone HR and talent strategies. Jessica began her career at Ashoka, a nonprofit that invests in leading-edge social entrepreneurs, for which she led a range of programs in Latin America (she is fluent in Spanish).
Jessica earned a BA in Sociology and Latin American Studies from Wesleyan University and an MBA from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management.
