Based in Palo Alto, California, Scott Texeira leads Egon Zehnder’s US Software Practice and is a core member of the firm’s Technology practice. He has deep expertise in enterprise software and systems, and is a trusted advisor on technology innovation for companies of all sizes. Scott brings experience in software development, software-as-a-service architectures, cloud services, AI/ML, big data, and IT infrastructure for Board and C-level recruitment. He is also active in Egon Zehnder’s Private Capital Practice.

Prior to joining Egon Zehnder, Scott served as Group Product Manager and Special Assistant to the CEO for Kofax, a document-imaging and information-capture company. He began his career as a Product Manager at Intuit in Silicon Valley and was responsible for direct-to-consumer e-commerce sites. He has also held senior product management roles in venture-backed start-ups such as BigFix, Mohomine, and Jarna.
Scott attended Stanford University on a Navy scholarship and earned a BS in mechanical engineering and an MS in aeronautics and astronautics. He served four years in the U.S. Navy as a naval aviator, flying the F/A-18 Hornet and achieving the rank of Lieutenant. Outside of work, he loves to travel and experience new cultures and foods with his wife and three sons. His other hobbies include cooking, music, and outdoor sports.
