Marike Kuin is active in Egon Zehnder’s Industrial, Private Capital, and Human Resources practices and leads the Legal Practice Group in the Netherlands. Her passion for building winning teams and leadership development is at the core of her client work. Marike is also an experienced executive and Board advisor, working closely with international clients to implement governance practices.

Prior to joining Egon Zehnder, Marike was the General Counsel and CHRO for Koole Terminals, a fast growing institutional investor backed terminal business. Before that, she spent eight years as a Senior Associate with Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer, both in the Amsterdam and London offices, specializing in M&A with a focus on private equity, governance, and corporate law.
Marike earned an LLM (Master in Law) from the University of Amsterdam. Outside of work, Marike enjoys kitesurfing, modern and contemporary art, and spending time with friends and family.
