Based in Copenhagen, Marie Louise Bunckenburg Helbo is active in several Egon Zehnder’s practices, including the Supply Chain & Operations Practice, the Consumer Practice and with her deep economic background in the Financial Services Practice. She works across industries helping companies find and develop talented people for top management positions. Clients also value her insights and experience for honing strategies and creating a diversity agenda as a prerequisite for enhancing their performance.

Before coming to Egon Zehnder, Marie Louise was with Mars in Copenhagen, serving as Supply Chain Director for Mars North Europe. Prior to that she worked as an Engagement Manager at McKinsey & Company.
Marie Louise earned a B.Sc. in economics from Copenhagen University and then took PhD-level economics courses at Cornell University for a year before returning to Denmark to complete a M.Sc. in economics. Outside work she enjoys spending time with her husband, two daughters and friends, cooking and eating good food, and keeping in shape by going to the gym, running, skiing, and wakeboarding.
