As the Global Head of Egon Zehnder’s CFO & Audit Chair Practice, Arun enjoys working with Boards and CEOs to recruit, assess and integrate CFOs, Audit Chairs and Audit Committee members. Arun consults on executive search, CFO and Board succession planning, leadership development and advisory services from companies across a range of sectors. Arun is also a certified leadership coach and provides coaching services to senior leaders including C-level executives, CFOs, and senior finance leaders who are aspiring to become CFOs.

Bringing a company’s finance department into alignment with the broader organization is a hallmark of Arun’s career. Before joining Egon Zehnder, Arun was a Vice President at Balanced Scorecard Collaborative, where he worked with CEOs and CFOs to define, measure, and operationalize their strategies. Arun has also worked as a consultant and auditor in Price Waterhouse’s New York office.
Arun has a BA in economics and psychology from Williams College in Massachusetts and an MBA from New York University’s Stern School of Business. Arun is a Certified Professional Accountant (CPA) in the State of New York. He and his wife, who have three adult children, are actively involved in education philanthropy. When not at work, Arun’s favorite pastime is performing stand-up comedy.
