Prior to joining Egon Zehnder, Heikki was a Vice President at Fortum Corporation, a major Finnish energy company, with corporate-level responsibility for procurement. Before that he was an Associate Principal with McKinsey & Company, leading operations, organization and strategy engagements for clients in basic materials, energy, and logistics across Europe. Heikki began his career working as a developer and IT consultant at a startup company that he cofounded in Finland.
Heikki earned a Master of Science in industrial engineering and management from the Helsinki University of Technology and a Master of Science in accounting and finance from the Helsinki School of Economics. Outside of work, he is passionate about his three daughters, traveling and visiting good restaurants, and staying fit by running and lifting weights.
