Rohit was born and raised in Singapore after which he moved to London to attend university at the London School of Economics to study a degree in Accounting and Finance. Before joining Egon Zehnder, Rohit spent the last 16 years of his career in Banking across a myriad of roles spanning Corporate & Commercial Banking and Global Markets. His latest role was in Global Markets Interest Rate Sales at Australia and New Zealand (ANZ) Bank in Hong Kong where his focus for the last 7 years was to build a sales desk and cultivate and deepen client relationships with Banks, Global Asset Managers, Hedge Funds and Life Insurance Companies. Prior to this role Rohit worked in a COO and Finance capacity for ANZ, Royal Bank of Scotland and ABN Amro. He is a long term Hong Kong resident.
During time off work Rohit finds his balance in spending time with his wife and two lovely children as well as a commitment to a daily yoga and meditation practice. He lives on Lantau Island, so away from the hubbub of Hong Kong, catching a ferry to escape to and from every day. He is passionate about sports namely tennis, football and basketball. For his sins he is a long time Tottenham Hotspurs supporter. He enjoys travelling and spending time in nature. Also likes to spend time raising funds for Gift a Smile which is a philanthropic effort to provide free education to children across India.
