Vrinda Khetarpal, originally from India, has been living and working in Jakarta, Indonesia since 2016. She serves clients across South East Asia as a member of Egon Zehnder’s Consumer, Industrial and Family Business Advisory practices. Valued for her intelligent approach, deep insights and broad industry experience, Vrinda successfully advises them on leadership and organizational aspects including executive and board placements, leadership and team assessments, and corporate culture. She is also active in the Firm’s Private Equity Practice.
I’m deeply intrigued by people’s diverse journeys in their personal and professional spheres. My role at Egon Zehnder enables me to partake in crucial people decisions and create meaningful impacts on lives, which fulfils and energises me.
In her previous role at Egon Zehnder, she was the Research Principal and Head of Research for the Indonesia office. She also led the industrial research group for the APMEA region. Before joining the Firm in 2016, Vrinda worked at Russell Reynolds in India. Earlier she was an employee of Avantha Power & Infrastructure, a power generation company in India, where she played a significant role in designing and successfully commissioning a water treatment plant.
Vrinda earned an MBA in international business from the Indian Institute of Foreign Trade, a master’s degree in chemistry from the Indian Institute of Technology in Delhi and a BS (with honours) in chemistry from the University of Delhi. When not working, she enjoys playing badminton, learning about history and culture, and spending time with her young children and other family.
