Tankut Sensurucu, based in London, leads the UK Family Business Advisory as well as Supply Chain Practice. His passion is enabling transformational leadership to lead through complexity with purpose and inspiration. Tankut advises family businesses on governance, succession, and talent management. He has extensive experience in recruiting and mentoring senior leaders and improving effectiveness of boards and management teams.

Prior to joining Egon Zehnder, Tankut was the New Beverages Director for Coca-Cola’s Central Europe division, where he led marketing, innovation and M&A activities. Earlier, he managed Coca-Cola’s expansion in Central and Eastern Europe. Tankut began his career with PepsiCo, where he established new business in Central Europe and former CIS countries.
Tankut completed AMP at INSEAD in Fontainebleau, France, has an MSc in Operations Management from Ball State University, in the USA, and a BSc in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Bogazici University, in Turkey. Prior to moving to the UK, Tankut has lived and worked in Turkey, Canada, Italy, Hungary, Poland, Austria and the USA. He serves on the advisory board of Darussafaka, a 150+ year-old institution that provides education for gifted orphans. He was an adjunct professor of leadership at Ozyegin University and served on the advisory board of Young Guru Academy, a youth mentoring and leadership development initiative. An avid basketball player, Tankut believes that sports, like education, have the power to improve lives and bring people closer together.
