Based in Mumbai, Archana Ram is active in Egon Zehnder’s Services Practice. She draws on deep industry experience to unlock the potential of individuals and organisations. Having worked with both conglomerates and family-owned businesses, Archana appreciates the importance of trust and mutual respect in relationships at organisations’ highest levels. She is especially passionate about helping institutions build the right culture based on transparency, trust, empowerment, an appreciation for talent and a strong performance orientation.

Prior to joining Egon Zehnder, Archana was with the Tata Group for over 16 years, most recently as the Vice President for Development at The Indian Hotels Company Limited, where she spent 12 years with responsibility for driving the company’s growth across brands. That was preceded by couple of years as product manager at Virgin Mobile India. Archana began her career as an officer in Tata Group’s flagship leadership development programme, Tata Administrative Services (TAS).
Archana graduated from Jai Hind College on the Merit List, then earned a B.E. in electronics engineering from VJTI followed by an MBA from the S P Jain Institute of Management and Research, all in Mumbai. Outside work, she enjoys spending time with her husband and two young children, cooking and travelling.
