Luis Garreaud cofounded Egon Zehnder’s Santiago office and has deep expertise advising family-owned companies on board search and other talent issues. He is active in Egon Zehnder’s Consumer, Board Consulting, and Family Business Advisory practices.

What I like about our profession is the opportunity to see what motivates and engages people. Understanding and supporting professional growth gets me out of bed every morning feeling energized and excited.

Prior to joining Egon Zehnder, Luis was the Commercial Director for Papelera del Plata in Argentina. Previously, he had a successful career in sales and marketing at CMPC Tissue Division, the largest manufacturer of paper products in Latin America.

Luis has a BA in economics from Universidad de Chile and an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University. He enjoys spending time with family, sports, literature, and history.
