Kevin Lai, based in Singapore, is the Global Health Practice Co-Leader and a core member of the Global Board and CEO Practice at Egon Zehnder. He advises public and private companies on succession planning for CEO, board, and other C-level positions, as well as board effectiveness. Kevin is a certified Integral Coach by New Ventures West and is involved in the assessment and development of senior executives, supporting their personal growth, self-awareness, and long-lasting leadership transformation.

Prior to joining Egon Zehnder, Kevin served as an Executive Director of the Singapore Economic Development Board, where he guided national strategy, policy, and infrastructure development for the health and consumer industries. He collaborated closely with senior management teams from global healthcare and consumer companies to shape their investment plans in Asia, particularly in Singapore. Previously, he worked and lived in New York and London, where he directed EDB's operations in Northern Europe and Russia. Kevin has a strong interest in professional development. He supports the Singapore Institute of Directors by training new directors through their Listed Entity Directors program. He is also part of the Board Readiness Program, which prepares senior executives for board directorship positions. Additionally, he mentors several healthcare start-ups founded by young entrepreneurs in the country and coaches CEOs of promising Singaporean companies.
Kevin holds a B.Eng with honors in chemical engineering from the University of Sheffield in the U.K. He enjoys spending time with his family, engaging in home improvement projects, and fishing in his free time.
