Jacob Rasin, based in Stockholm, is a trusted advisor to clients when it comes to appointing leaders into roles such as CEO, CFO, board members, and other key management team members. He supports clients in these decisions through search and/or through assessments and leadership development projects. He has deep expertise in medical devices, frequently working across Europe in this area, and in pharmaceuticals, biotech, and health-care services across the Nordics. Other than in Healthcare, Jacob also serves a diverse set of clients such as in private equity, family-owned businesses, and listed companies across sectors.

Everyone benefits when strong, well-intended, effective leaders have the opportunity to make their mark on business and organizations. I can’t think of a better job than helping to foster such leaders and seeing them take on important roles.

Before joining Egon Zehnder, Jacob was the President and CEO of Stille AB, a publicly traded, vertically integrated surgical-products firm with global operations. That was preceded by various roles at Gambro, a global leader in dialysis products, based in the USA as well as in Sweden. Jacob began his career as a Management Consultant at McKinsey & Company.

Jacob earned a MSc in Economics and Business Administration from the Stockholm School of Economics, where he also participated in an international exchange program with the MBA program of the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School. He is a graduate of the Swedish Armed Forces Language Academy in Uppsala. Outside of work, Jacob enjoys cooking, wines, and in general spending time with his wife, three children, and dog. He is passionate about skiing and sports that involve any shape of balls.
