Heloise Nel is the Managing Partner of Egon Zehnder’s Sub-Saharan Africa practice since 2021. She also leads the firm’s board and CEO practice in Sub-Saharan Africa, focusing on board succession and effectiveness, CEO succession and transitions, and the assessment and development of leaders and organizations. Combining business and leadership expertise and coaching experience, she supports senior leaders to achieve their highest potential.

Heloise’s dedication to transformation and change began before she joined Egon Zehnder in 2014. Previously, she was a Senior Manager with Accenture , where she led international transformation projects. She started her career as a metallurgist at De Beers, overseeing offshore diamond production and designing marine diamond processing plants. She also served as a Director of the South African National Energy Association, the national chapter of the World Energy Council.
Heloise has a Bachelor of Chemical Engineering from the University of Stellenbosch and an MBA from Stellenbosch Business School. In her spare time, she enjoys horseriding, travelling, and reading.
