Constantin von Oppen, based in Hamburg, is active across Egon Zehnder’s Industrial Practice and draws on his extensive prior experience to help clients in the energy, mining and metals, services, agricultural, and natural resources fields. He is a trusted advisor on leadership development across commodity-related industries and helps individuals as well as teams and organizations shift from the status quo up to a new level of performance.
There’s something amazing about interacting with people and playing a part, however small, in their lives.
Prior to joining Egon Zehnder, Constantin gained deep experience in a variety of roles at Glencore, a multinational commodity, trading, and mining company, where he was responsible for industrial assets, risk management, business development, and, ultimately, trading.
Constantin earned a BA in international business while attending the University of Groningen in the Netherlands and the University of San Andrés in Buenos Aires. He subsequently completed an MBA at IE Madrid. Outside of work, he is devoted to his family and enjoys adventure trips, hunting, and sports (triathlons, skiing, and windsurfing).
