Founding partner Egon Zehnder to discuss culture as a driver for brand success

CHICAGO, October 08, 2015 – Egon Zehnder, a global leader in executive search and leadership advisory services, is proudly partnering with Northwestern University on the fifth annual Kellogg Marketing Leadership Summit. This year’s theme, Cultural Transformation for Growth in the Digital Age, will take place over two days, featuring presentations and panel discussions with CEOs, senior marketing leaders and thought leaders.

“We will be delving into how companies can evaluate their current culture and frame a strategy to achieve and align upon a desired culture that supports the brand in the marketplace.”

At this year’s summit, Egon Zehnder’s Rory Finlay, Head of U.S. Consumer Practice and Co-Head Marketing Officer Practice and former consultant Dick Patton will lead a discussion on the role of the chief marketing officer in transforming corporate culture.

“Marketers are directly responsible for brand perception in the marketplace, which can be significantly impacted by an organization’s culture,” said Finlay.

“Organizational culture can be a powerful brand marketing tool,” added Patton. “We will be delving into how companies can evaluate their current culture and frame a strategy to achieve and align upon a desired culture that supports the brand in the marketplace.”

The 2015 Kellogg Marketing Leadership summit began last night, October 7th, with a dinner for attendees at Northwestern University’s Allen Center, and continues today, October 8th with a full day of sessions led by Kellogg faculty, Egon Zehnder, McKinsey, The New York Time’s technology columnist Farhad Manjoo, and marketing executives from Emerson, Colgate Palmolive Company, MillerCoors, Chobani, and ULTA Beauty; and representatives from McKinsey & Company and the Kellogg School of Management.
